Yokagawa Electric Corporation Joins LogicVision's LVReady™ Automatic Test Equipment Interoperability Program

SAN JOSE, Calif. —Dec. 20, 2007 — LogicVision, Inc. (NASDAQ: LGVN), a leading provider of test and yield learning capabilities for the semiconductor industry, and Yokogawa Electric Corporation a leading supplier of Automatic Test Equipment today announced that Yokogawa has joined LogicVision’s LVReady™ program to ensure seamless interaction between LogicVision’s Silicon Insight™ semiconductor diagnostic product family and Yokogawa’s testers to accelerate manufacturing test development, silicon bring-up and diagnostics.

“We are pleased to join LogicVision's LVReady partner program to help our joint customers in accelerating their manufacturing test process,” said Hirokazu Oooka, Product Marketing Manager, Yokogawa Electric Corporation. "The integration of LogicVision's Silicon Insight software with our test equipment will help our mutual customers get chips into manufacturing faster, even as chip complexities increase and geometries decrease.”

Through its LVReady partner program, LogicVision works with leading ATE platform providers to integrate its Silicon Insight product family with their test platforms to provide powerful manufacturing test solutions for chips containing LogicVision's embedded test IP. By using an LVReady tester, customers can take advantage of LogicVision’s vectorless manufacturing test and diagnostic flows. These robust and streamlined flows ensure fast silicon bring-up times and quick turn-around on diagnosing root causes of device failures.

“At 90nm and below, silicon diagnostics and manufacturing test development are increasingly consuming more resources and becoming a bottleneck in delivering working silicon to end customers,” said Farhad Hayat, VP of Marketing at LogicVision. “Our collaboration with Yokogawa Electric ensures that our joint customers will have access to a productive test development and diagnostic flow, ensuring fast silicon delivery times.”
